26th Annual Thomas C. Streckewald Golf Classic

TESU Foundation Annual Golf Classic

Monday, June 29 is the TESU Foundation’s 2020 Golf Classic at The Ridge at Back Brook.
We are looking forward to a wonderful day!
Please read the following details regarding modifications to comply with current guidelines:

Schedule of Events

9:30 a.m. Arrival and Warm Ups
No registration, please report directly to your assigned golf cart
and maintain social distancing on the range and practice areas.
Shoes should be changed at your car, as no clubhouse access is permitted.

11 a.m. Shotgun Start

Approx. 4 p.m. Post Golf Dinner on the Clubhouse Patio and Deck

Food and Beverage

  • Breakfast ~ beverages and wrapped breakfast items available on the Clubhouse Patio
  • Boxed Lunches (ticket required) ~ Bring ticket located in your cart to the Halfway House
  • Refreshments on the Course
    • Halfway House – passed between #3/#4; #9/#10; #18/#1
    • Stationary Beverage Cart - between #11 fairway and #14 green
  • Post Golf Dinner ~ Immediately following round on the Clubhouse Patio and Deck

Contribute for Contests

  • In lieu of purchasing a $50 Masters Pass this year, we encourage you to make a contribution to directly support a TESU student impacted by the pandemic: Student Relief Fund
  • To avoid congregating and exchanging money at the event, all participants will be automatically entered in all Contests; prizes will be awarded for Putting, Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin

*Please note that a forecaddie tip has not be included in the golfer entry fee*

Health, Social Distancing and Masks

  • Please do not come to The Ridge if you have any symptoms or are not feeling well
  • Practice social distancing
  • Masks are not required but please wear at your discretion based on your risk tolerance

Clubhouse Access and Bathrooms

  • Clubhouse access is prohibited
  • Locker rooms can be accessed for restrooms only
  • The Golf Shop is open with a maximum of 4 people at a time

Golf Rules and Modifications

  • Scramble Format – please turn in your scorecards following the round
  • Bunker rakes and ball washers are back on the course and plastic devices have been removed
  • It is recommended that you do not touch the flagstick

Inclement Weather

In the event of severe weather, the Foundation will do our best to reschedule the Outing for a later date. We will make every effort to contact you, but please call 609-218-3428 or visit for updates. As this is a charitable event, no refunds will be made if it becomes impossible to start and/or complete the tournament due to adverse weather conditions.

Photo Release

Photos will be taken at our Outing. Please take a moment to read the Photo Release information below. As event registrants, you and your guests accept the terms and conditions: I do hereby give Thomas Edison State University, its assigns, licensees and legal representatives, the irrevocable right to use my name (or fictional name), picture, image or photograph in all forms and media, and in all manners for advertising, promotional or educational purposes, trade or any other lawful purposes, and I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written copy, that may be created in connection therewith. I am of full age. I have read this release and am fully familiar with its contents.
