Thomas Edison State University Foundation

The Foundation has been raising funds to support the mission and vision of Thomas Edison State University since 1976, when it was first established as the Thomas A. Edison State College Foundation for Nontraditional Education and served as a component of the University. In 1983, it was restructured into the Thomas A. Edison State College Foundation, Inc., an independent, charitable organization benefiting the University.
The future of our nation depends upon the quality of its human capital and the productive talent of its people. Thomas Edison State University is committed to empowering our students, expanding their lives and promoting the public welfare in building this capacity. The Thomas Edison State University Foundation is dedicated to helping the University achieve this vision.
“An exciting future awaits for Thomas Edison State University,” said Dr. Merodie A. Hancock who assumed the presidency of Thomas Edison State University on March 5, 2018.
Student service member units have received hundreds of care packages thanks to staff donations.
The grant will help enhance the University by expanding the offerings and quality of nursing programs offered to students by the W. Cary Edwards School of Nursing.
