The Thomas Edison State University Foundation, Inc., operates exclusively for the benefit, support and promotion of the University and its educational activities. To that end, it may receive and invest any bequest, gift, or transfer of property or money, and expend any such funds or property for its educational purposes. Although it works closely with the University, the Foundation is incorporated as a nonprofit organization and is independent of the institution.
The Thomas Edison State University Foundation calls on individuals, alumni and business leaders who believe in the power of education to explore various ways to support Thomas Edison State University and its mission to serve adult learners.
The Foundation holds several events during the year as part of its activities, including the Golf Classic and the Gala Dinner. Other events to be announced are a series of financial planning seminars, to be held in conjunction with the Alumni Association.
