Dear Alumni, Students, Friends and Colleagues,

Thomas Edison donors committed over $1 million in support of the University’s mission to provide educational opportunities designed to empower adult learners throughout their educational journey. With your support, you are investing in those opportunities that provide options for adults who chose a path of non-traditional education.

In 2019, 2,331 Thomas Edison students realized their dreams of earning a degree. Many of these students, as well as our current students and future students, were and will continue to be the beneficiaries of your generosity. The stories of success that follow in the coming pages demonstrate the power of philanthropy and your commitment to TESU.

One initiative funded in 2019 that I am particularly proud of is the development of the Academic Community Impact Program that will create the University’s civic and community-engaged learning platform. The Academic and Community Impact Program will be offered to a pilot group of students in early 2020 and will continue to grow in the coming months and years. This exciting opportunity for was made possible with a meaningful grant from the Provident Bank Foundation, and I remain grateful for their confidence in TESU, our students, and the amazing outcomes we accomplish together.

On behalf of the Thomas Edison State University Foundation and the University, I thank you for investing in opportunities at Thomas Edison that drive access and successful outcomes for our students. Together, we continue to change lives and build our future.
