Kristina Sisco Romero, BA ’06

Kristina Sisco RomeroKristina Sisco Romero knew that her passion for acting and writing would need to be cultivated with both real-world experience and a formal education. Kristina pursued both. As a young actress on the CBS daytime drama As the World Turns, she was given the opportunity to showcase her talent. In 2001 and 2002, her work on the daytime drama earned her Emmy award nominations. To advance her writing career she knew she would need a college degree.

Thomas Edison State University's flexibility fit Kristina's schedule allowing her to audition during the day and study at night. Her ability to balance school and work helped her land a role in The Flock, a psychological thriller starring Richard Gere and Claire Danes. Kristina recently completed her first novel, Calling Extra, which showcases her extraordinary writing skills.

Thomas Edison State University gave Kristina the opportunity to pursue her dreams on her time.
