Merodie A. Hancock, PhDDear Alumni, Students, Friends and Colleagues,

Thank you for your continued investment in the important mission of the University and the Thomas Edison State University Foundation. The ability of TESU to change the lives of so many students is directly impacted by your generosity and support.

Your support strengthens our ability to meet our students where they are, serve them in meaningful ways, advance our innovative technology and remain leaders in the marketplace. Your gifts have empowered our students with the resources they need to successfully complete their degrees and enhance their personal and professional lives.

A highlight of this year's fundraising was a $200,000 grant from the PSEG Foundation that will impact students across the University. Specifically, the PSEG Foundation grant will allow Thomas Edison to expand the career enhancement initiative for our active-duty service members and veterans and to develop new simulation opportunities in our science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) courses.

We are also celebrating the establishment of the University's Center for Leadership and Governance, which will work to educate and empower the next generation of visionary leaders. I look forward to updating you on their progress in future communications.

Thomas Edison is built upon the support of our University community. You are a critical piece in opening personal, academic and professional doors for our dedicated students.

I hope you are as inspired by the impact of our collective generosity as I am, and I again extend my tremendous appreciation for your support.

Sincerely,

Merodie A. Hancock, PhD
President, Thomas Edison State University
